Terrible

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered 2 tickets to Hillsong, but I accidentally bought them for Peoria, Il. I called immediately. The representative told me they could try to resell them, but I would only receive 80% back. I told them ok because there was no other options. The concert sold out, but I was never contacted. I just called them today and they told me they were sorry, but there was nothing that they could do. He told me I could have sold them myself on stubhub. I told him I didn't realize I could have. Now I'm out about $110. Very frustrated. Poor business!

To the customer that wrote this comment let me express that I am sorry that this happened to you during a time when you would have been happy about going to the Hillsong Worship Concert. It is hard to explain the process of being the secondhand broker in this picture.

I have found out some of the information about Concert in 2018. The company that sold you the ticket were Ticket Network and Ticket Boat was the ones that filled the order as we were the fulfillment center for this company. Our company doesn't do incoming calls from the customer. The people that you spoke with were representatives from Ticket Network and the way that you are expressing your interaction with them should not have ever happened.

The only call we would have received was that of Ticket Network.

I understand the confusion as to who you spoke with and the different companies. I have forward you complaint to Ticket Network for further explanation and to find a resolution to what happened.

Ripped off

I purchased a concert ticket on line for classic east concert on July 29th for sold out performance on july 30th. they charged me $100. for this ticket, and sent me a link to print the ticket. when I proceeded to try and print the ticket it came up blank, was not able to download anything. I then proceeded to contact my credit card company thinking that this was an scam and this company was commiting fraud. I also had a message from my credit card indicating that their website could be fraudelent. My credit card company closed the account and froze it and then sent me a new card, with new account no. several weeks later received a letter that capital one had resolved my issue. then a couple of days ago, I get a phone call from capital one's fraud dept who were investigating my claim. upon speaking with him, he asked if I contacted the vendor, and I said no. so he put me on a conference call with Ticket boat. I explained what happened, she then put me on hold. when she came back she said there was nothing she can do for me, since they tried to reach out and call me, and I did not contact them. I told her I never received any call, and was not able to attend the concert due to not being able to download a ticket on their website link. both ticket boat and capital one said they could not help me because I did not contact vendor, and this was not fraud. I am very upset because I feel they ripped me off for $100.00 which I should not have to pay, since I never was able to see the concert, due to their website or link being faulty. I am very angry and upset with both Ticket Boat and capital one for not being able to help me. due to my experience I would never use a ticket broker, a lot of them are scams, and to me if they dont produce a ticket, they are scamming me as well. in the future will only use ticket master, as I know they are a reputable company.

Tried to double charge

We got 4 tickets to see Journey....costs over 800.00...put ONE up for consignment and then asked for it back...Got all 4 tickets printed and went to the show. Got a call 4 days later saying that someone bought all 4 tickets, mind you we had them back at this point and they said we had to pay over 1600.00 due to breech of contract, but the kicker is we got our tickets in hand BEFORE anyone bought them...so basically they are double selling tickets....called and spoke with someone who was VERY rude and told me it was MY fault, so I called a manager and he said it was THEIR mess up and that we didnt have to pay the 1600.00....I will NEVER deal with Ticket Boat again!

Do not do any purchases from this company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
was so outraged by the way I was treated by Ticketboat that I had to write this Email to let it be known and hopefully something be done so that no one will experience what I did today. Long story short I had purchased Metallica Tickets for August 20th back in March, when I called to make the purchase I asked them for the closest seat they could give me and I didn't care about the price. So I ended up with 2 tickets for around approximately $439 but I was unaware that whoever I spoke to put me in the back row... which was not what I asked for. So I called back, than I spoke to a Sydney which she said she could help me get closer if I paid an extra $72 which I did and was very grateful to her for her help. Which I than noticed later on closer to concert time she didn't really move me up either but around the same section but further up.. AGIAN not what I asked for and perhaps maybe that was my fault for not making sure she was understanding me and maybe when I said I wanted closer up she thought by section and not stage... So I contacted TicketBoat. I spoke to a lady named Emma at first which I told her my situation and she said she would help me with that and I was very happy at first that they were going to help but she said only way she can move me up is if I paid another fee to get moved up. I asked if there was any other tickets around my price she said no... So I went ahead and looked online myself and there I see 2 tickets right next to eachother that was closer to the stage and asked if I could just exchanged it for those, she put me on hold maybe 4 times during this call but after I asked that question not only did she put me back on hold but she hung up the phone so I called back asking who I spoke to that hung up on me. They kindly said "ohmust have gotten disconnected let me transfer you" so he transferred me but not to Emma , he transferred me to a man named Ryan .. Not only was this man very unpleasant but he refused to let me talk to her again and than when I explained my story to him he tells me that nothing can be done, than I told him well when I spoke to her she said she could if I paid a fee so you mean to tell me unless I paid a fee nothing can be exchanged? he said well she shouldn't have said that and no nothing can be done about my tickets, I than asked to speak to a manager, he told me he is the manager in a very rude and unprofessional way than just basically said whats done is done.. and hangs up on me... so infuriated I call back.. another man answers and I tell him about what happened he said to me that he heard and yeah nothing can be done in a very rude manner, and as hes talking to me I can hear that Ryan guy talking in the backround and that guy again Hangs up on me.. I want to make it known to the BBB about this horrible broker "ticketboat" and how they treat their customers.. I tried my best to figure out who I can talk to in charge of that manager and the guy I spoke to before he hungup said "goodluck because hes in charge of this whole corporation" Is this how you treat people? I would never want to do business with them again or anyone affiliated with them! This has to be known.. Something has to be done.. That man should not be in charge and that whole company and every last person I dealt with was extremely rude.. If it wasn't for me calling TicketLiquidator and talking to this very nice lady name Stephanie I would have not known about this email I can send.. Not only did she listen to me vent but she was understanding, and I understood she couldn't do much to help me but I was okay with that because of how she handled the situation .. Maybe Ticketboat can learn a thing or two from them about customer service because they are god aweful... Both are affiliated with the other so do not do either and just go DIRECTLY to ticketmaster.. TRUST ME I know now I will never purchase tickets from them and I will make sure anyone that I know will not either and I will do my best to not let anyone go through what I did... No one should...

To the consumer that wrote this review. I had check into events that happened in your area around the time of this posting to see if we even had employee that were in the area.

Ticket Boat had or has no employees in that area that would of suggested that they meet you at your venue. The closest that I could get to what had happen with you is that we are the secondary broker in which we supplied Ticket Network your ticket or tickets. We would never as a customer to meet us at a venue to receive their ticket. I don't understand all that happened but feel that you had problems with the delivery of your tickets.

I'm not sure if you had gotten your tickets or what the issue was.

Ticket Boat is a customer friendly company where we put the customer first. This is what has lead to our success.

These people who complain about the mark up clearly are unaware they are buying from the secondary market, It is stated on all these websites that they are not associated with venue and tickets may be above cost...There is NO SCAM and All Sales are Final (not in small print) just uniformed customers...Tickets are based on supply and demand, many tickets go unsold or sold for a few dollars...yes even sold out shows. My advice buy the day of the event and the prices will be below cost...Oh wait No reviews about getting tickets below cost...

Professional

i Purchased tickets from Ticketboat online to the US Open Tennis. When I placed the order they said they wouldn't have the tickets for another few weeks. The person who helped me was named Jason. He told us that the tickets will probably be in before the expected in hand date and definitely well in advance of the event. He said he'd call when they were shipping it out, so that I could keep an eye out for the fedex delivery Sure enough, the next week Jason called to tell me the tickets were going out that day. Ticketboat was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way and I would encourage anyone looking for tickets to go to the TB.

Consistently Buying Tickets - One Direct Source

Working directly with Mike at Ticket Boat has always been easy and rewarding. When the box-office could never find me exact tickets I wanted when I wanted them, I found Ticket Boat and have been able to purchase the exact tickets I want, no randomness; no up-charge. I pay more per ticket, but I do not have hidden fees and I also get to pick the seats I want, ALL SEASON LONG! Ive sat all over the stadium for 3 seasons now and couldnt be happier with the ease of service and even getting some games at under face value! Ticket Boat has always done amazing at getting me 100% what I want.

Great experience!

I had an amazing experience with Ticket Boat. Mark was very helpful in getting me the best seats in the house for the Justin Timberlake concert.. I've been a fan since NSync! They were delivered right to my house in a timely fashion. It was an awesome show and worth every penny. The tickets were a birthday present for my sister and it couldn't have worked out better. Every time I called with a question or concern Mark was able to help me and gave me the best customer service! I will definitely be using Ticket Boat for all the concerts I go to.

Ripped off as well by Ticket Boat

These guys are total scam artists. I purchased tickets for my wife for Wicked. I paid $210 total. I received the tickets and the face value was $42 each. I ended up paying $210 for $84 worth of tickets. That's a $126 profit for these mongrels. I will never use them again and i highly advise you do the same. I called and the rep was very rude and was told..."you should have read the fine print". Well shame on me...At no point during the transaction on line do they tell you the actual face value of the ticket. I figured at the price i was getting it was a good ticket. Terrible business model.

Ticket Boat - Ripped us off for tickets

My daughter paid 204.00 for 2 tickets to see Wicked in St. Louis Fox Theater. When the tickets arrived there were 2 tickets for $40.00 each. That is quite a profit for them. Exactly $124.00 profit. We called and they said you should read the fine print before ordering. Take our advise buy your tickets from the venue you are going to. There was no getting our money back or even getting better tickets which they had promised in the first place. We could have gone to the Fox and picked them up the day of the show and paid alot less than this. Lesson learned.
